Easy summer hikes in the Alta Pusteria Valley

Hike to the Silvesteralm

It starts off with a car up to Schönegger Säge or by bus to Wahlen and then by foot through the densely wooded Silvestertal, with the quaint mountain pasture and forest areas.

Bonner Hut (2,340 m) and Toblacher Pfannhorn

You start at the Kandellen in Toblach, where you must leave the gravel paths, steep forest paths and switchbacks behind your until you can enjoy an impressive panorama. From the Bonner hut (2 h from Toblach) you can see the Three Peaks, the Sexten Dolomites, the Geisler peaks and the Ortler. The Pfannhorn (2,663 m) is located only one hour away from the Bonner hut. Spectacular views!

Going around the Three Peaks

A classic hike! Anyone who has not admired the Three Peaks up close should make up for it during a hiking holiday. This classic hike starts at the Auronzo hut and is also suitable for children.

Nature trail at the Toblacher See

11 stations explain what is worth knowing about the flora and fauna in the Three Peaks Dolomites area to big and small in a playful and interactive manner.

Altschluderbach

This tour leads from Toblach through meadows to Neunhäusern and Niederdorf. On the way back, a stop is made at the Altschluderbach animal park. The path is suitable for pushchairs.

The Toblach ridgeway

The Toblach ridgeway is a strenuous and challenging tour and is meant mainly for experienced hikers with stamina. From Enzianhütte, the tour leads into Silvestertal, to Silvesteralm, up to Marchkinkele, to Blankenstein, Pfannhorn, Gaishorn, Hochhorn and Golfen.

Monte Specie

Starting from the Dürrensee in Höhlensteintal, the path leads over rock waste cone up to the high plateau of Strudelalm, where the old military path leads to the Strudelkopfsattel and finally to Monte Specie.
Attention: The ascent is steep and impassable and is not suitable for inexperienced mountain climbers.
